About the company
Owner: Walid Elsabbagh
Since launching in 2016 as a pop up stall, Koshari Korner now officially has a home! Situated in Marrickville, Koshari Korner has parked itself in the Addison Road Community Centre. It all started when Walid migrated to Australia and realised that Egyptian food, and particularly the iconic Koshari dish was missing from the street food scene in Sydney. Koshari is an iconic Egyptian vegan street food dish. An unusual combination, Koshari mixes lentils, pasta, and rice into a single dish topped with chickpeas, crispy onion rings and a fragrant tomato salsa.
