Hiro & Mayu Akiba are passionate about sharing their Japanese culture and promoting cultural diversity. As the organisers of Byron Bay’s annual Japanese Festival, they have also been touring local schools and teaching Taiko in the Byron Bay community since 2012. Byron Taiko is available to host private functions and events – offering Japanese-themed catering, authentic decor styling, music, meditation, and professional Taiko performance.
